The local community gathered for an enchanting evening under the stars to watch the film The Wild Robot on Saturday, March 8th. Participants made themselves comfortable on the oval of Woodland Grove Primary School, bringing blankets and bean bags to enhance their experience.
With approximately 400 attendees, the event drew families and children, who engaged in various activities before the movie’s screening. Youngsters enjoyed kicking footballs and soccer balls, as well as playing with hula hoops. Families also appreciated the diverse offerings from food trucks, ensuring there was something for everyone to enjoy before and during the film.
On Saturday, October 7th, The Glades, in collaboration with Found.Lab hosted an Oktoberfest event characterised by traditional lederhosen and dirndls.
The afternoon was replete with family-friendly activities, including live music, street performers, food trucks, a pretzel station, face painting, and much more.
The Glades Dog Pawty, held on Sunday, March 26th, marked a delightful celebration of the official opening of Icaria Dog Park.
Attendees brought their beloved pets to partake in the festivities, which featured dog-themed market stalls, delicious food, face painting for children, and a photo wall for the dogs. Additionally, the first 200 attendees, both humans and their canine companions—received a variety of giveaways.
It was truly delightful to witness the community come together for a block party on Saturday, November 19th.
The day was vibrant and lively, featuring engaging live music, a fantastic array of food vendors, enjoyable activities for children, and much more!
