On Friday the 28th of July, the Satterley Community Development team at Seaside estate were joined by Mandurah Baptist College for the first-ever community planting day.
The concept is that during Year 11, the students plant the seeds of around 1000 native species and help them to grow until they are big enough to plant in the ground.
Flash forward to Year 12, and the same students have the opportunity to teach younger students from Years 1, 2 and 3 how to plant the trees and shrubs in the ground.
This community event was a great success, and we look forward to hosting it again in coming years!
More information on the wonderful work our Community Development does can be found here.
